JLT 3.0 Oil Separator

Solid billet construction.
Multi stage filter system designed to collect the finest of vapors and drop them into the easily removable bottom while allowing clean air to pass through to the intake.

How does it work?

During the process of venting crankcase pressure back through your intake track, large amounts of oil, in the form of vapors, intake tube, intake manifold runners and even dilute your gas, lowering its octane level. This happens on all engines and is even worse with forced inducted vehicles (supercharged and turbocharged) as crankcase pressures are increased. To combat this, we have developed an oil separator of our own design. Milled from solid billet aluminum this is a rock-solid piece. It has a knurled tank base for easy removal to drain the spent oil and an O-ring seal to prevent any leaks.

Filtering consists of a fine mesh stainless steel screen that traps fine oil vapors and releases them once heavy enough to fall. They then pass through a 1/2" thick 1/16th" aluminum honeycomb filter where they grow every larger and then fall into the bottom. By the time the oil gets through the filter it's too heavy to be passed on into the intake. The tank holds 3 oz of fluid, while that may not sound like a lot, you shouldn’t see that much oil in your PCV system. Drain it every 2000-3000 miles and you will never come close to filling it.

JLT has jumped into the Hellcat intake market with both feet. We have owned a 2016 Hellcat Charger for nearly a year now and have been testing and designing this kit the entire time.

This kit includes a fully Roto Molded airbox that uses the factory fresh air (Ram Air) inlet from the grille/headlight that also seals to the hood. We feel this is the key component that puts our kit well above the rest. Not only does this box help keep inlet air temps down by blocking the filter from hot engine heat, it also helps hold in the cool air getting rammed in from the inlet creating a high pressure area around the filter.

Speaking of the filter, our filter is a custom built design made by S&B. It has a built in bell mouth for super smooth and fast air flow as well as huge 1" deep pleats for more surface area than filters that look much bigger.

The intake tube is roto molded plastic with a huge 125mm for superior airflow and NO heat soak like metal tubes.
With a mouth of 4.5" at the throttle body end, it is ready for any larger throttle bodies that may come in the future.

MAF and IAT adaptor plates
2015/16 Hellcats have a Mass Air Flow sensor and 2017-2019 have an Inlet Air Temp sensor. We designed our kit to work with BOTH. Included in each kit are CNC machined aluminum plates, gasket and stainless screws to adapt to either model years.

HEAT SHIELD
Includes new roto molded plastic heat shield to block engine heat at idle and low speed.

RAIN SHIELDS
Each kit comes with custom designed and water jet cut Lexan shields that bolt to the hood grille. Not only do they keep rain from the filter, they allow the cooler rammed air to stay in the box around the filter VS just being pushed out of the grille.
